A suspect involved in an armed carjacking in Andover on Tuesday afternoon allegedly fired a gun during a road rage incident earlier in the day, according to police.
The carjacking happened around 4:15 p.m. on Route 133 near Route 28, Andover police wrote in a Facebook post. The carjacking victim was driving an Acura SUV with Massachusetts plates that had been reported stolen.
They were not injured.
Before the carjacking, a suspect in that incident was involved in a “separate traffic incident” in Shawsheen Square. Police say the suspect “may have fired the weapon” during that incident.
